Rate/fix my Magic the Gathering Arcbound deck. kthx ^_^? I have a current deck, and I'm attempting to evolve it further. Are the changes I've made good, and what should I change about this deck? Current deck: Lands (18): 10x Island 4x Seat of the Synod 4x Vault of Whispers Creatures (23): 4x Arcbound Worker 3x Arcbound Stinger 3x Arcbound Slith 4x Arcbound Crusher 4x Vedalken Engineer 2x Arcbound Overseer 2x Hell's Caretaker 1x Mycsosynth Golem Other Spells (19): 4x Energy Chamber 4x Thoughtcast 4x Fabricate 4x Talisman of Dominance 2x Cranial Plating 1x Whispersilk Cloak Planned Changes: IN: 4x Vedalken Archmage OUT: 4x Thoughtcast Thoughtcast is great (2-for-1 and only one mana in this deck) but sometimes it doesn't really do enough for me. And the Archmage has a great synergy with Mycosynth Golem. The only bad part is the 4 mana to cast, which can be difficult in an 18-land deck. IN: 4x Arcbound Ravager, 1x Arcbound Reclaimer OUT: 2x Hell's Caretaker, 1x Arcbound Stinger, 1x Arcbound Crusher, 1x Arcbound Overseer This is the combo I'm attempting to institute: Reclaim a card, play a card, draw the reclaimed card, sacrifice the card you played, put the counter on Reclaimer, play the card and draw the card, etc. This allows Ravager to be built infinite times, and with a Whispersilk Cloak (or a Crusher in play, which would also be built up infinite times) this allows me to swing for victory. IN: 4x Diabolic Tutor OUT: 4x Energy Chamber If I need certain cards that I just don't have and that aren't artifacts (Archmage, for example) and plus often I find that 4 Fabricates just isn't enough. But is Tutor really the right card? IN: 4x Darksteel Forge, 4x Salt Marsh, 1x Oboro, Palace in the Clouds OUT: 9x Island With the Tutors and the need for artifact land, these are in. Is there a way to fit another 2 lands in, and what should these lands be? I'm really wondering about the 18 lands with the addition of non-artifact spells that Engineer and Mycosynth Golem can't help with. Sideboard/side additions: Cancels, Last Words, and Neurok Stealthsuit Against things like AEther Snap this deck is completely destroyed. Stealthsuit can be activated by Engineer and would be used against burn decks. This is probably a pointless request, but let's not troll me and answer intelligently. Thanks. Oops, I meant Darksteel Citadel, not Darksteel Forge. Why do I need Disciple of the Vault? Ravager/Reclaimer combo wins in one turn. Disciple is pointless unless I'm running aggro/affinity, which I'm not.
Rate my Artifact Deck/Advise? Hello I've been making an artifact deck and I would like a bit of advice and rating on it. It is only about 60% complete and a bit larger than I would like but it is necessary to compensate by having more cards seeing as I don't have really good mana or card accellerators. It is a 90-card deck. The aim of this deck is to have superior creatures, lots of many acceleration and quick drawing of cards to make use of the mana and also to be able to gain a modest amount of life. Myr Retriever x2 + Etherium Sculptor x2 + Time Sieve x1: Infinite turns combo! Sacrifice Myr Retriever and then the other to return the one already in your graveyard to your hand. Play it again for free. Repeat as many times as needed. Myr Retriever + Skeleton Shard: Return any artifacts to my hand with these in play. Favour of the Mighty: Many of my cards have high mana costs so it's handy for me. 3 Broodstar's, Sphinx of the Steel Wind, Inkwell Leviathan. Pariah's Shield + Favour of the Mighty + Darksteel Forge + Inkwell Leviathan: All damage is dealt to Inkwell Leviathan rather than me but it cant be destroyed. I cannot take combat damage. Minion Reflector + Master Transmuter: Master Transmuter comes into play(with it's own ability preferably after returning it to your hand) then pay as much as you can afford to get more Master Transmuter tokens then use those tokens to bring out multiple artifacts. Master Transmuter/Minion Reflecter + Magister Sphinx: Use either to bring in more Sphinx's or to bring it in again and make more than one opponent's life total 10. Freed from the Real + Vectis Dominator: Tap many creatures or deal lots of damage. Arcanis the Omnipotent + Freed from the real: Untap Arcanis the Omnipotent to draw tons of cards if need be. Master Transmuter + Freed from the Real: Use Master Transmuter many times a turn with this. All "Freed from the Real" combo's may use Elsewhere Flask to get all Blue Mana. Elsewhere Flask + Etherium Sculptor/s + Esperzoa: Return it to my hand and play it again to draw more cards. Esperzoa + (Enchantment that prevents creature from blocking and activated abilites): Return the enchanted creature to me hand and the enchantment becomes unattached. Esperzoa + Pentad Prism: Return Pentad Prism to my hand when it is out of charge counters. Thanks in advance :) Also wondering, If I returned a Master Transmuter token to my hand made with Minion Reflector, could I play it, use it's ability to return it to my hand again and continue to do so while also bringing out other artifacts? Because tokens have a converted mana cost of 0...Thanks.
