Which video game system is the best one to buy if I like role-playing games like Knights of the Old Republic?

or Sims? I have the older x-box and am considering a new system even though I still really like the x-box. There just aren't any new games to play on it. I don't like sports games or games that are mostly shooting and fighting.

well if you like RPG and Sims you should buy the wii 'cause wii has a lot of simulation game choices and the play will be more interactive...unless you prefer the graphical aspect of the game you should buy the XBox 360
360...you can still play your old games on it.
I wanted to know the same thing. I will tell you that you will not be disappointed with the Xbox 360. Yes it still has many shooters but i also have Oblivion, Two Worlds, Enchanted Arms, and Eternal Sonata. I am very pleased with all of these. I had a PlayStation 2 and an Xbox even with me being a loyal fan of PlayStation and the game that came with it such as final fantasy i still bought a 360. Hope this helps.
well if u like rpgs like kotor, you'll need to get an xbox360 its backwards compatable so you can play kotor one and two on it and it has great rpgs on it also suck as oblivion which is an rpg albeit differnt from kotor its one you'll get lost it theres also fallout 3 witch comes out next year fable two early 08 many others im just not thinking OOO and mass effect comes out on the 20 of this month, its made frrom the same people who made knights[bioware] and is really really really good BTW if u havnt tried jade empire for the orginal xbox. pick it up its a good buy, from bioware[kotor] and its really really well put together
If you liked KOTOR you will like Jade Empire. It's made by the same company by the way =) Elder Scrolls 3 on the original Xbox is good.
