Why do you believe in reincarnation?

If you are not a believer, what is your opinion of reincarnation?

  1. No, I don't believe in reincarnation. As far as my opinion goes, I think that you get one shot at life. If you screw it up, oh well.
  2. I don't. Only stupid people believe in reincarnation.
  3. Because of several episodes of de ja vu over the years. It's that feeling of having been in a place or doing/knowing something/someone you've never experienced/met before. It's that inexplicable feeling of "having been there."
  4. It makes more sense to me than anything else but I'm still not a true believer but open to the possibility of reincarnation. Chrisitanity is awful. You have this bad-ass God who is always punishing and killing innocent people and then creates a perfect man who calls him "loving" to have a human sacrifice to himself as a way of forgiving the rest of us? Forget it!
  5. reincarnation......no, i dont think its realistic
  6. I hope reincarnation is real. Next time I'm going to choose rich parents.
  7. I think that "LIFE" on earth is purgatory and we keep getting sent back until we get it right!
  8. Not exactly, but I DO believe in genetic memory. I suspect that memories can imprint on genetic material somehow.
  9. I believe in reincarnation, because I think God would give us as many lifetimes as we need to learn what we're supposed to learn.
  10. I don't believe in reincarnation, per say. I don't think we come back as another person, or thing, etc. I believe that when we die we taken back into the earth(if we are buried) we become apart of the earth, grass, etc. The animals that eat that grass takes us into them, and so on. I have to say I had trouble expressing this until I heard a quote from a movie, which was "He said[mans son] that if they dug his father's body up, it would be gone. They planted a seed over his grave. The seed became a tree. Moses(the son) said his father became a part of that tree. He grew into the wood, into the bloom. And when a sparrow ate the tree's fruit, his father flew with the birds.
