How do I convince my parents that playing MUDS is really fun to me?

I like to play this mud on Ironrealms.com but my parents don't support me and are trying to get me out of playing it but the thing is I worked hard on my character and now I want to buy credits but they wont let me cause they don't like the game. How do I get them to let me buy my own stuff for once and make my own decisions?

2. Well.. really you probably are not going to be able to buy those things unless you have your own money that you are earning, like, through a job. For several years I wanted to buy stuff like that too.. then when I finally started earning my very own money, well, I didn't want to spend it on that anymore. LoL
