Does the bible say that you will go to hell for believing in reincarnation?
I believe in Jesus and I also believe in reincarnation. I've had people tell me that I will burn in hell for believing in reincarnation. I don't believe them because I believe that we make our own heaven or hell and I dont' believe in Satan. I just want to know what the bible says about this.

- I don't know what the bible said, but Jesus was reincarnated... so isn't telling you that believing it exists make you go to hell being a hypocrite? And nobody said anything about reincarnation not happening, they just decided that you're different so you aren't a believer.
- No. In fact Jesus was an Essene and he believed in reincarnation. Jesus refers to it when he introduces John the Baptist as having been Elijah.
- Do you live according to what Jesus says or do you believe that He exists? Read what He says. Ask God to make clear to you what His words mean. Then practice what Jesus says. I suggest starting with the book of John.
- No...........the Bible clearly teaches that people will go to hell for not believing in Jesus Christ and accepting Him into their heart for the forgiveness of sin............... God Bless...............
- First of all, Jesus was not reincarnated; he was ressurected, and there is a difference. He didn't come back to life as a different person/animal, he was still jesus. The Bible talks about a specific heaven and hell. Every person has a soul that goes to either heaven or hell when they die.
- I was raised Catholic and even then I believed in reincarnation. Luckily my parents were liberal Christians and were fine with it and let me decide for myself what to believe and what not to. I could never wrap my head around the whole hell concept either. It really does not make any sense. God is supposed to love you unconditionally, unless you make him mad, then he sends you to burn in hell for eternity. That is not unconditional love. I thought back then that you needed to live many lives in order to learn the life lessons you need to enter heaven. One lifetime is too short to do that, especially for those that die young. I am now an atheist/Buddhist and am much more at peace.
- You believe in Jesus, but do you love Him and place your entire life and trust in His hands? Jesus said that if we love Him, we will obey Him. He is the Word of God - the Word made flesh. The Word has declared that it is appointed unto man to die once and then face the judgement. Jesus Christ has ruled out for you and everyone else the possibility of reincarnation. Reincarnation is the man made product of a humanity that wants to avoid God by getting chance after chance to "get it right." This mindset alone is enough to indicate that man has a problem that he is not lord over and cannot shake. You've seen from other posts how this can happen. I have been deeply fortunate not to be raised within the false doctrines and strongholds of Catholicism nor been exposed to the dangers of liberal (disobedient) Christians. These things add up to a huge burden on the shoulders of many and shaking it off is required to find the biblical Christ. It is Christ Himself, not surprisingly, that shakes these shackles off to true freedom. Atheism is no freedom at all, just another deception.
- I say this in all love truthfully if you believe in Jesus as the bible speaks of Him i believe your views will change. Read 1 Corinthians 15:50-58, 1John 3:1-3, John 14:1-6. and I believe that will answer your questions on really if reincarnation is true, this explains what will happen when we die. Then Read John 8, Ephesians 6, James 4, Revelation ch 12, Job ch 1 and 2.and i believe this will show you the proof of Satan. Jesus speaks of hell more than anyone, true fact, and you can read about these through out the epistles matthew- John. Just know that Jesus loves more than you will ever know. Grab your bible go through these passages, and then read through the book of Romans. May God speak to you through His Word. a brother in Christ.
- No you will not burn in hell for your beliefs ! In fact the bible never actually talks about burning in hell. It talks about Gehenna and Hades which most likely refer to the grave. There is absolutely NO reference to an eternal tormenting place. People have different interpretations to as what Gehenna and Hades are.
