1. Enligthment occurs when one renounces attachment and achieves Nirvana, at which point they can avoid the process of rebirth. To reach Nirvana you follow the eightfold path. Reincarnation occurs after death when your soul is born into a new body but many Buddhists, myself included, do not believe in it.
2. Put very simply, reincarnation is rebirth, another chance to get rid of karma. Enlightenment is when you have rid yourself of karma and no longer have to reincarnate, but live in the state of nirvana, also known as buddhahood.
