reincarnation again?

ok, i still dont get it, if christianity does believe in reincarnation, how does each individual spend eternity in heaven, does that mean when you die and get reincarnated, you will never be you again, some say if a soul doesent get it on earth, they are sent back to try again, so if john dies and gets sent back as joe, and joe does everything write, does the old john get to also spend eternity in heaven because his next soul did it rignht, does that mean that if you dont get it right, u are gone foreever, because in that little story, johns soul moved on and got it right, now joe has a new personality and conscience and john has a personality and conscience, but if they are the same souls, do they both get to live in heaven concerning they are 2 different people.

  1. Reincarnation is part of different religions, not christianity.
  2. i dont think that christianity does believe in reincarnation. " In just one verse, the Bible devastates the concept of reincarnation. Hebrews 9:27 says that "it is appointed for men to die once, and after this comes judgment." Those seeking more Scripture can turn to James 4:14, which says: "yet you do not know that your life will be like tomorrow. You are are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away." " Maybe a little more research on your part would help you find the answers you need. :)
  3. Puzzles me too. Some say that gay men were formerly women. The only hint of reincarnation in the Bible is John the Baptist being considered as Elijah. But John seems unaware of it.
  4. Christianity does not believe in reincarnation. For the people that do, it is believed that the body dies but it is the soul that is reborn. If John dies and is reborn as Joe, there is still only one soul that is involved. So...in the afterlife there is only one you. Your body does not follow you. It is only a vessel.
