Do judges who impose multiple life sentences believe in reincarnation ?
Wouldn't this be the only way a covict could serve those sentences?

- No, they just understand that parole is a very real thing, and that they have to prevent that from happening at the bench.
- I've often wondered the same thing, but came to realize that those judges were former cops. Their brains were damaged due to all the sugar from eating so many donuts.
- In many states life actually means 20 years or less until the subject is eligible for parole. By imposing multiple consecutive life sentences the judge is endeavoring to keep the subject the subject from ever being released on parole. Also, if one count is thrown out on appeal the defendant still faces a life sentence for the other/s.
- no lmao in NJ life is only 25 years they want to insure the criminal spends longer than 25 years in prison to keep the public safe
